Facial fillers, or dermal fillers used on the face, have become one of the most widespread and successful treatments to hide the effects of ageing.

To understand their use, and to understand how and why they work, it is first necessary to understand the process of ageing on the face and how our eye picks up the clues of someone’s age from the face.

This website aims to give an overview of the affects ageing has on the face and then an overview of how fillers work to combat this. Finally it will discuss some of the different sorts of fillers on the market.

International Master Course on Ageing Skin (IMCAS)

Absolute Aesthetics are delighted to announce that Vicki Smith will be presenting at the International Master Course on Ageing Skin (IMCAS) conference being held in Paris next week. Vicki will present her findings on using Advanced Electrolysis for the removal of Xanthelasma (see our Xanthelasma website.)

IMCAS is one of the most important international conferences dedicated to aging skin treatments and their Annual Congress held in Paris welcomes more than 3500 delegates from 40 different countries.
